Causes and Remedies for Thinning Hair in Women


Hair growth in women is cyclical. The growth phase (Anagen) during which hair grows out of the follicle lasts from about two years to six years. This is followed by a rest phase, which lasts for a varied period of time before it falls out and is replaced by the growth of new follicle shaft. Any interference with the growing and resting phases can hinder the growth and development, causing thinning hair in women.
