good shampoo is made up by many different ingredients some natural
others synthetic. Bed head takes this premise a step further by using
very unique ingredients that your hair benefits strongly from, again
these are a dukes mixture some nature others not. There are many

Sulfates and Cleansers
Sulfates
are cleansers that cause the oil in your hair to separate, once it
washes away your hair will look and feel clean. There are many different
types of sulfates, some are good and others are not so good. Today we

plenty of other ones out there.
CAPB is a synthetic sulfate made
from coconut oil other than cleaning it also helps make the product
thicker, this is beneficial to the consumer because it will wash the oil
off more reliably. It is considered a medium strength cleanser and
usually does not cause any skin irritations, if you think you are
getting skin irritations from sulfates please consult a doctor right
away.
 They
also use disodium laureth sulfosuccinate which helps the product foam
up and separate the oils on the scalp as well, keep in mind over use can
dry the scalp out. Sarkosyl is used as a cleansing agent it is made
from sarcosine, this agent works well and is gentle. SLS is another
common surfactant when it comes to hair products, it comes in many
different grades from very gentle to extremely harsh. It is very
effective on oil and creates a very rich lather that helps wash a way
oils. It can irritate very sensitive skin if it is over exposed so try
not over wash your hair.
Hydration makes Happy Hair
Using
derivatives of the guar plant tigi helps deep condition the hair and
helps naturally detangle it. They use glycerin to help lubricate the
hair shaft so the moisture stays longer, this is great for your hair and

aloe vera, grape oil, avocado oil, sunflower seen oil and Vitamin E. All
of these products help install hydration in hair. Once your hair is
properly hydrated it will break less, grow faster, and not tangle as
much. They uses different variations of Vitamin B to get proteins
directly back into the hair. There are preservatives in the shampoos but
that is common. With out them the shampoo would spoil and mold with in a
week much like a gallon of milk.
