Which Hair Products if you have Black Hair?
 
Black hair poses its own problems and opportunities.  By nature, genetics, and skin type (and pigmentation), black hair (for our purposes here black means of African-American and Hispanic in nature), is thick, course, often very curly and generally lacks moisture relative to other hair types.  This presents challenges both in styling and hair care.
 
Hair density – the number of follicles per square inch – means a constant issue with dry and breaking hair.  Due to inherent thickness and density, the hair has a difficult time remaining moisturized.  As a result, already thick strands and dense hair are prone to breaking and kinking, especially with intensive styling. 
 
Moisturizing shampoos, such as Emu Oil Shampoo and Conditioner penetrate deep into hair follicles infusing moisture and nutrients.  This softens and renews elasticity making hair healthy and more manageable.
