While Hair loss plagues both men and women the female population is starting to close the gap with the number of women suffering from hair loss. This is strange since in the past female hair loss was not heard of that much - yet a recent study shows that nearly 25 million women will suffer from hair loss.
 
So what can men and now women do to help this. And while we have solutions for men and women that suffer from hair loss - we would more like to talk about preventing hair thinning and loss in both men and women.
 
In the late 90's I learned about a microscope that could see the root of your hair. This polarizing scope was used in 3 countries around the world to analyze hairs. I became friends with one of the analysts and was amazed at what the hair analysis could do. It could see so many aspects of the hair including build up of dirt, sebum and bacteria, it could show the shape of the hair that later showed us whether the hair was being largely affected by dht!
 
This amazing analysis could show burns in the hair from perms that affect the hair. It could show lack of nutrition in the hair. In other words it is extremely valuable but I was blown away that nobody in the USA was using this tool. So I learned how to use this microscope with the help of my trained friend and eventually became the fourth in the world using this tool and the only one in the USA!

Follicleanse shampoo was designed to use herbs such as thyme and sage to deep cleanse the root of the hair to purify the scalp and also deep in the follicle pocket where bacteria and sebum can get caught and breed for years! I also added fenugreek and ivy burdock to help bring blood flow to the scalp and the root of the hair and this help to resolve a lot of scalp issues. Blood flow is vital to healthy hair and skin.
